The Skyliners

The Skyliners 50's & 60's band formed in 1990 with David Mears as lead singer. The band quickly became very popular for corporate functions, weddings, parties and events.

Brushes with fame came when successfully auditioning for Michael Barrymore's 'My Kind of People', performing on the main stage at The Hylands Park Spectacular (now 'V'), support slots for The Searchers, The Sweet, Bony M and Roger DeCourcey plus a performance at the Cafe Royale.

David Mears is still the lead singer and they're still rocking!

David Mears is an experienced musician who works as a solo singer and guitarist for special events and in pubs and clubs.
